Yesterday our grade had to listen to Mr. Zhao's talk in the third floor which place for other students to study the music lessons. Mr. Zhao is person who is very good at garden designing. He didn't tell us a lot. He only told us the things about suzhou's gardens. I didn't know a lot of things about suzhou's gardens before but after I listened to his speech I also didn't know a lot.
The suzhou's gardens have characteristics about stones and water. The stones and water is very important for suzhou's gardens. There were a lot of poems talked about the stones and water but I didn’t know a lot. I only knew a lot of poems about liquors. Mr. Zhao showed us a lot of poems about the stones and water but I never knew it before.
Suzhou's gardens are world famous. The garden is filled with ponds and streams and has beautiful pavilions and building scattered throughout. Each is designed to offer unique views. In different pavilions located throughout the garden are live musicians performing.
He also showed us four different styles of gardens. One is about the scenery. One is about someone own. One is about imperial families. Now, we all know gardens but most of us think that gardens are places for people to look very well. In the past, the gardens had many different meanings. Different kinds of gardens were for different kinds of people or animals. Most of gardens have stones and water together but the stones and water sits in different ways.
